Wow, I knew they were going to be at the toy fair this weekend, but I did not know there would be so many photos posted of the current line-up of pre-production models. Star Wars, Marvel, Terminator and more. Now, keep in mind, these shows are about showing what toys are coming soon. So when I say pre-production, I mean that these models may or may not be finalized. They are subject to change. In addition, as much as I would love to be able to go to the New York Toy Fair myself, I don’t have the funds for that. So I’m only able to gather together here photos shared by other people. So I’ll be including some source links at the bottom of this post so you can see the photos at their original source. I just want to provide a single location where they are gathered together. Also, I may update with more photos later, as they become available.
Also, for some reason, the Star Wars models (and particularly Boba Fett) are getting most of the attention. So I pulled some of the other interesting models up to the top so you don’t miss them by getting tired of all the Star Wars. Except the motorcycle, which is way at the bottom. Cause it seemed to break up the grouping. Yeah, I’m a little OCD. Deal with it. Also, if you know of some other sources of photos, let me know! I’d love to add some more pictures, especially of the not- Star-Wars models.

I built all 4 of the Fascinations Space Shuttles and have the new ICONX Discovery to build with the extra size and detail. I’m not sure, at this point, if I want to build 4 of the ICONX with just a name change?
I completely understand. I’ve only built one of the classic ones, and couldn’t bring myself to buy the others over more drastically different models.
I have some pictures. How can I send them to you?
Awesome! May I have permission to send you an email to the email address you entered when creating this comment? If prefer not to publish my email address publicly, but also wish to respect your privacy and not initiate an unsolicited contact via the email address you provided just for comment response notification.
Yes, absolutely.
Thank you, Robyn!
I’ve sent you an email from an email address you can use to send the photos to. In case it gets filtered as spam, the subject line is “New York Toy Fair Photos” (in case that helps with finding it in your junk mail folder).
Very exciting! Being there would have been a real treat. The new models appear to have raised the bar quite a bit. Appears I will be raiding the retirement fund a bit earlier than planned. Thanks for pulling together the pics.
Seriously. I would absolutely love to be there. Not only to see the models, but to meet some of the people. And I agree, they are definitely raising the bar. I’m a little concerned that all these new ones appear to be ICONX / Premium Series. Not that I mind those, but I hope they keep producing models that are entry-level as well. I love this hobby (clearly) and want it to keep growing. Also, I’m on a budget, and I can’t buy that many ICONX! Much less find the time to build that many. I remember, back before I started this blog, I would finish 2 or 3 models a week. Just one in a week was a slow week. Now… between the blog and the complexity increase (as well as Life getting in the way) I worry about letting a week slip by without building a model and/or posting about a model. Such is life. Of course, I say all that, but I just built 4 models in a couple of days last week… but with the Legends line retired, there won’t be many of those left to do. haha.
